Nurture the body
Anoint this body
Nurture the mind
Anoint the mind with
The divine name
GIFTS GALORE
The body is a gift
This breath is gift
This mind is gift
Intellect is a gift
To be cherished
Not perished
To be used
Not abused
Instruments all
To search for the divine within
And aroundUnite as one
Anoint this body
Nurture the mind
Anoint the mind with
The divine name
GIFTS GALORE
The body is a gift
This breath is gift
This mind is gift
Intellect is a gift
To be cherished
Not perished
To be used
Not abused
Instruments all
To search for the divine within
And aroundUnite as one

Divine Poem!
It reminds me of the Tirumandiram verse:
Udambinai Munnam Izhukkendrirunden
Udambinukkulle Uruporul Kanden
Udambinil Uthaman Koyil Kondan Endru
Udambinai Yaan Irundombugindrene!
(I earlier thought this body as very demeaning
But I found the truth that exists within the body
When I realised that God has his temple there
I now protect and nurture this body).
Dear Parvati, Adi, Swahilya:
Thank you, Yes indeed! When I could not use my right hand for this past week, when to worship I had to use my left hand I realized this!!
The Tirmandiram verse is beautiful!! Thank you for the translation Swahilya
Superb!
