The Da Vinci Code--

So much has been said and not said too about the book and the movie. A hue and cry about something actually trival. Truth comes sometimes from the mouth of babes too many a time. My child innocently asked ‘ Mummy so what if Jesus was married, does that make him less of a God? Krishna was married. too!” Yes indeed!

Masters come into being just express the Truth. To know Jesus for the Love and Compassion he spoke of is to know him. The rest is just trivia. The essence of the Master lies in his teaching.

krishna, Buddha were all married. I think the protests were a little misplaced. There have been serious changes that have been made to the bible, the old testament verses the new.

Now how does it matter if Mary Madelain was his wife? She was proclaimed a whore in the bible when the actual reins of the faith were handed over to her by Christ - so say some reference material which is subjected to debate.

There is another book, "Jesus lived in India" which cover the 8 years when he went missing. Jesus never died on the cross it says, he died as a fine old man in Kashmir. He was treated with the best herbal medicines when he lay inside the tomb and rose after three days, feeling a lot better, he never came back from the dead! He then left with his close companions to Kashmir never to return.

Now, is it the life of the saint they are looking at or is it the teachings they want so that they can become better human beings?

I dont know... but yes, thought is definitely misplaced.

Mary Madelain wasn't the whore. The idea that she was came from a speech made by Pope Gregory. There were so many Marys back then you couldn’t throw a rock without hitting one.

The problem with Jesus being married would be he is the holiest of holies. He wouldn’t be soiled by mixing his flesh with a woman. This is part of the male dominated Catholic Church. If you read the apocrypha and the lost books, Mary was important. He trusted her and used her for council.

The crusades weren’t about getting the Holy Grail. It was a mission to seek out the female priests. Jesus was the first, in the Judean sect, to allow women to hear the important message of God.

There would also be a fundamental problem with Jesus having an heir. God graced us only once… So story goes.

Jesus, like so many with good intentions and ideas, has had his message twisted from love to a reason to hate.
