THE DIVINE MOTHER

Ya devi sarvabhutanam daya rupena samisthita
Namastasyi, namastasyi namo namah.

Oh Goddess who manifests as Compassion in all beings
Salutations to you, Salutations to you.

Ya devi sarvabhutanam shakti rupena samisthita
Namastasyi, namastasyi namo namah

Oh Goddess who manifests as strength in all beings
Salutations to you, Salutations to you

Ya devi sarvabhutanam dhairya rupena samisthita
Namastasyi, namastasyi namo namah

Oh Goddess who manifests as in courage all beings
Salutations to you, Salutations to you

Ya devi sarvabhutanam shanti rupena samisthita
Namastasyi, namastasyi namo namah

Oh Goddess who manifests as silence in all beings
Salutations to you, Salutations to you

Ya devi sarvabhutanam shraddha rupena samisthita
Namastasyi, namastasyi namo namah

Oh Goddess who manifests as devotion in all beings
Salutations to you, Salutations to you

(Seeing the wonderful picture of the The Divine Mother, posted by Parvati I couldn't help posting my favourite prayer, a hymn from the Devi Mahatmayam which helps me to see The Mother in all beings around me)

The most beautiful and a mantra from the same Durga Sapta shati is

Balagraha abhibhutanam, balanam shantikarakam
Sanghatbhede cha nrinanaam, Maitri karna uttamam

This mantra helps in removing obstacle in the path of child, people you love and make even enmies do good to you...

Om Namaha Shivaya
